Dr. Clendenen

Meet Dr. C:

Dr. Llon H. Clendenen was born and raised in Los Alamos, NM where his father, H. Leon Clendenen, was the hometown orthodontist. Llon came to Oklahoma to attend Oklahoma Christian University, graduating in 2003 with a BS in Mechanical Engineering. While at OC he met his wonderful wife Lori of Tulsa, OK. and became impressed with northeast Oklahoma’s Green Country, people and culture.
Dr. C obtained his DDS degree from the University of Missouri-Kansas City graduating in the top of his class, and was then accepted into a two year residency in Orthodontics and Dentofacial Orthopedics. During his residency he also obtained a Master of Science in Oral Biology, completing a thesis on cone beam computed tomography and digital radiography (nerd alert!).

Dr. C came to Bartlesville in 2010, in search of an opportunity to open an orthodontic practice in this very special community. He and his wife Lori, a Tulsa native, were excited about the unique qualities that make Bartlesville great. Finally, in late 2014 the opportunity to serve as an orthodontist in the area arose and Dr. C jumped at it. The pride and connection of the people of Bartlesville is contagious, and Dr. C is excited to be a part of helping the community smile.

Dr. C and his wife now have 3 amazing children, Landon, Lawson, and Lyndie, as well as their sweet family dog, Lucy.  Their family has a passion for helping people, regularly hosting international interns and foreign exchange interns in their home, as well as being active members of The Park Church of Christ, and committing Bartlesville Braces to supporting many Brush4Brush, a local, get one give one company. For every toothbrush purchased one is given to a child in our local schools. Dr. C has been committed to serving the people of northeast Oklahoma since 2010 and states as his mission statement: “My goal is to be a living example of hard work, discipline, and dedication; to be the epitome of patience, giving my best, and going the extra mile; to teach my children, as I was taught by my father, how to laugh at myself, how to enjoy life, and how to help others enjoy life with the heart of a servant.”
